Your website is a reflection of your business to the world. It is a gateway for your customers to learn more about your products and services. So it's important that your website looks great, works in multiple browsers, and allows you to communicate with your site visitors. It's counter productive when organizations sabotage their image with a poorly developed site, but I see it all the time, and that's unfortunate, because their is an opportunity cost to not building a great website.
